After 20 years of law practice, Anna Oh gained expertise in a broad spectrum of law including bankruptcy, personal injury, immigration, and domestic relations, representing clients in both State Court and Federal Court. Since being admitted to the State Bar of California in 1991, she represented thousands of clients in counties throughout Northern California. Ms. Oh is a seasoned trial attorney who has advocated for her clients in criminal law court, family law court, bankruptcy court, superior court, workers’ compensation board, and in social security hearings. Ms. Oh has also obtained outstanding results for clients short of trial as she successfully negotiated settlements
in her clients’ favor. Ms. Oh taught agency law at her alma mater as an adjunct professor, and is fluent in Korean.
Ms. Oh received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Northern California, School of Law, graduating with honors and receiving trial advocacy awards. She received her undergraduate degree from Seoul National University.
Ms. Oh has been also active in community activities in the Sacramento area. Among other things, she served as president of the Korean American Coalition, which promotes the community’s participation in American political affairs. Under her leadership, Korean American Coalition built a bridge between first generation and second generation Korean Americans to empower the community, and registered hundreds of new Korean American citizens in the greater Sacramento area to vote. Ms. Oh also chaired the Community Service Committee of the Asian Bar Association of Sacramento.
Ms. Oh is passionate and dedicated to her profession. Her legal skills and professionalism has been a great asset in the local communities and will continue to serve those in need.
